The girl we grew up with, watching American Pie. The emotional, hot Vicky Lathum who was a role model for many young girls and everyone wanted to look and dress like her. Well… not so much anymore. I feel bad for her though. Hollywood doesn’t go easy on woman; we all know that. It’s always been a toxic environment, where women feel a lot of pressure to look young to get roles. Acting can be rewarding in the sense that, when you are Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie to name a few, you can make millions of moneys and not really have to worry about your future, if you are good at investing, saving and managing it. Let’s face it, the more money one makes, the more one is tempted to spend increasingly until there is nothing left. Especially when you have been poor most of your life.

Tara Reid had her fame in Hollywood in the late 1990’s and then roles became fewer and B movies were pretty much her only choice, which I’m sure doesn’t pay that much. I am sure it’s a very stressful life to be an actor like her and wondering where your next role is going to be, when you will be able to make money to afford a certain lifestyle or just survive. A lot of actors and actress unfortunately ends up doing drugs and drink heavily, under the pressure. which is what seem to have happened to our lovely Tara.
From Facebook, i saw the TMZ post about Tara being drunk, with a very unflattering image, and then i watched this video.
She said that as a lone woman, she got downstairs to get a drink and then went outside to smoke a cigarette, leaving her glass at the bar, unattended… Who does that!? There were supposedly a bunch of Youtuber in the lobby, everywhere according to Tara, videotaping stuff, everything, it was just weird. She then went back to the bar, and her drink was covered up with a napkin. So, you are telling me that she found it weird that there was a napkin there because she didn’t put it there but decided to finish her drink anyway… but wait… she didn’t finish it because she just suddenly passed out… just like that, after a couple of sips. She ended up in the hospital. She passed out for 8 hours according to her. 8 long hours of nothing after being drugged.

She’s not very specific about this part because she probably knows if she mentions that the hospital did test, they will tell her that she was drugged and give her a lot more information than that. IF she indeed had been drugged at the bar, it is very likely that the hospital would have run blood tests and checked for a specific drug that would be in her system. A police report would be filed, they would probably investigate the bar, check the cameras and ask around if anyone had seen anything. I mean you would think that if you were drugged, you would file such a report with the police. She is a mediocre actress at best in this video, because she’s not fooling anyone. But…. She didn’t ask what kind of drug she was drugged with. TMZ reporters were quick to see that she wasn’t being honest too, asking the right questions and Tara couldn’t answer any of them.

Poor Tara, you would think her family and friends would try to help her and send her to rehab, to get her life back together. I think this video trying to explain what happened and why she was seen in such a lamentable state at the hotel is more damaging than just leaving things like that. We all hope For Tara that she can get some help. Apparently, she is known for being an alcoholic and that’s sad. Being a heavy smoker and drinker will wreak havoc on your body and if life matters at all, it should be a life-changing decision to take your health seriously and make some changes.
Even though Hollywood is a nasty toxic place, some actresses that age gracefully, like Jamie Lee Curtis, Diane Lane, the late Diane Keaton still managed to get roles later in life and they didn’t get any plastic surgeries and have their lives together. I am sure having to deal with drunk people is absolutely terrible, not just for the person being drunk but the people around them too. What’s sad is that a lot of alcoholic don’t realize they have a problem and won’t seek help on their own. It slowly becomes a way of life, a way to escape reality in many case. Sadly a lot of women celebrities fall into drug and alcohol addiction and some even lose their lives because of it. Many men do too. The cinema industry has become all about money or maybe it always has been ?
